How Showings are Handled When You Occupy A Home

Yes we know all too well this is one of the most unpleasant aspects of renting a home, but it is necessary especially in slower markets when owners are feeling pressure

Yes residents are entitled to quiet enjoyment of the home, but all of our leases have a clear "right of entry" clause, and the standard for violating someones enjoyment of a home is substantially higher than showing the home after notice to vacate is established.

The more helpful you are during this process, the more likely we'll rent it quickly early in the process, can take it off market and you can coast into your move out

We want nothing more than that, but we are required by contract to roughly do what the owner directs and they almost always insist we list a month prior to move out and reasonably show, so we do

Here are more details pertaining to a re-rental, meaning someone has to get out of their lease but it's great advice for all if you want to speed things up during the showing process.
